ABOUT RACHEL STONE

Rachel Stone is a Pre K-12 educator, policy expert, education researcher, and leader with more than a decade of experience advancing student achievement, educational opportunity, and systems-level improvement across K–12 education.

As a former classroom teacher and education policy professional, she brings a unique perspective that bridges educational practice, law, policy, leadership, and community engagement.

Rachel earned a Bachelor of Science in History Education, Cum Laude, from Toccoa Falls College; a Juris Master in Child, Family, and Education Law from Emory University School of Law, With Honors; and a Tier I Educational Leadership Certificate from the University of Georgia. She also holds Georgia educator certifications in English, History, Political Science, Special Education, and Educational Leadership.

Throughout her career, Rachel has served students, educators, nonprofit organizations, state agencies, and community stakeholders through roles in teaching, public policy, government affairs, and research. Her work has focused on strengthening educational systems, expanding opportunities for students, and helping organizations navigate complex policy and compliance issues.

As a classroom teacher, Rachel developed innovative instructional practices, created culturally responsive learning opportunities, and improved literacy and numeracy outcomes for all student demographics, especially students with disabilities. Beyond the classroom, she has contributed to education funding initiatives, special education, child welfare, and juvenile justice advocacy efforts, legislative strategy, stakeholder engagement, and policy development at the local, state, and national levels.

Rachel is passionate about helping educators, organizations, and communities create environments where every student—regardless of background, ability, language, or socioeconomic status—has access to high-quality educational opportunities and the support needed to succeed.
Her mission is simple: to equip leaders with the knowledge, tools, and strategies necessary to strengthen educational outcomes, support thriving communities, and expand opportunities for future generations.
